The Farm has an inventory of some of the world’s best and unique genetics. Due to legal restrictions of transporting plants across state lines, all these genetics are in the seed form and must go through a selection process called the pheno-hunt. The pheno-hunt selects the best plants, or phenotypes within the same family of a single strain called the genotype.

A simple analogy is a family of brothers and sisters are within the same genotype because they share the genes of Mom and Dad, but individually are phenotypes. The pheno-hunt finds the top performer or phenotype that transitions into a mother plant that produces clones for the next generation of plants. These mother plants serve as the gene bank for all future cultivation cycles.

Phenotypes and overall genetics will be evaluated during the initial grow for the selection of top varieties.

New strains will be introduced every 6 months.
